Addie Booker was interviewed on 04/09/1997 for the African American Oral History Project. In her interview she speaks about her experiences migrating to Waterbury from South Carolina, Jim Crow segregation, the church she attended, and her family. Her husband, Cicero Booker Sr., was the first African American police officer on the Waterbury police force.
