Class portrait of the Banks North School class of 1912. The elementary school class of 1912 has 20 students and one teacher. The female and male students are standing in front of the school entrance. The boys were wearing long-sleeve shirts, neckties, and knickers. Some of the boys appear to be wearing jackets or sweaters. The girls and teacher are wearing dresses and have their hair pulled back. Some of the girls are wearing bows in their hair. Behind the class is the Banks North School building; it has one chimney, windows with shutters, a pole, possibly a flagpole, and a front door. To the left of the school, a partial view of a wooden fence is visible. Rocks are visible in the foreground. Trees and a partial view of a stonewall are visible in the background.
