Convertible High Chair

wood, metal, rattan
Victorian-era convertible wooden highchair. The chair frame is made of a wood with a medium toned stain. The back of the chair and the seat of the chair both have caning. The chair has four decorative legs, each with a metal wheel. In the highchair profile, the legs are at their narrowest position (front to back); at their middle "walker" position they are further spread (front to back) but still rest on the wheels; in the lowest "rocker" position the legs are spread to their widest distance (front to back) and the decorative legs act as the rocker base with the wheels lifted from the ground.
