Margaret Moore was interviewed by Maxine Watts on 08-05-1997 for the African American Oral History Project. She came to Waterbury in 1934 and stayed with her aunt. Moore discusses her life in Waterbury, working during WWII, the Grace Baptist Church, the Waterbury NAACP, the Pearl Street Neighborhood House, and how she owned her own sewing business.
