Walnut mirror, circa 1800. Dutch. Probably from the Van Dresser house in Flatbush. A plastic tag attached to the mirror says "American mirror ca 1800, gift of Edward G. Thurston, 1965". The cards in the Thurston file have this accession # on it, but suggest that the mirror may be Dutch and may have come from the Van Dresser House in Flatbush. It also says that the miror is walnut, not maple, so there is some uncertainty.
