Brass & tin. Sewing bird shaped tool used for clamping fabric to a table while working. C-clamp on bottom of bird, Bird itself is part of a clip to hold ? There is a small receptacle for a pin cushion (missing) which would have been glued to the bird's back. The entire object is intricately embossed with a floral pattern. Very ornate.
