Cotton and Beads

Description: Knitted reticule, brown cotton on top with open areas through which is laced the brown cord drawstrings. The drawstrings have tassles of pink beads. The main beaded design, on a background of clear beads, is a floral one with red, pink, white, and opaque beads used to make roses. Green beads (3 shades) are used for leaves. There is a top border of a geometric design of yellow and plum. The lower part of the bag, which tapers to a rounded bottom, has a star-shaped leaf design of yellow and brown with red and pink flowers and green leaves on a plum background in separate sections. The bottom of the bag has a loop fringe; there are 7 strands on each side and one in center. The loops of plum colored beads with yellow, green, and red beads at center of each loop, hang down 2.5".
