Black Straw

Black straw hat with metal red cross on side. Inside label says "Youmans, New York, 581 Fifth Avenue". Belonged to Miss Ann Sherman Hoyt during World War I while serving in Europe with the Ann Morgan Group. Loaned to the SHS in 1973, then given as a gift in 2006. Black grosgrain ribbon around the crown.
