Helen Bisnovich gave an oral history interview for the Jewish History Project on October 3, 2000. Helen, who's maiden name was Levine, was born in Georgia. Her parents, David and Lena, immigrated to Georgia from Lithuania and Russia. When Helen was married, she moved to Waterbury, CT since Samuel had a dentist practice in Waterbury. Helen speaks about the Beth El synagogue, the Ladies Aid organization, Jewish owned businesses, and Jewish holidays.
