View of a man, B.F. Bulkley Jr., standing with a block of ice suspended off the back of the horse-drawn vehicle. Bulkley Jr. appears to be wearing a long apron and cap. "SASCO LAKE / ICE" is printed on the visible side of the truck. Below that, "B.F. Bulkley." Two structures are visible in the background, one of which has a sign with the letters "TT." and two chimneys. Also, trees are visible in the background. "Bulkley's Sasco Ice company delivered ice to local hardware and general stores c.1890." This information was found in Images of America Fairfield Connecticut by Barbara Austen and Barbara Bryan.
