Oral history interview with Natalie Bram

December 26 2000 (Date manufactured/created)
Natalie Bram gave an oral history interview for the Jewish History Project on December 26, 2000. Natalie's grandparent Morris and Cecelia Kaserski immigrated to the Waterbury from Russia and Poland. Morris owned a contracting/building company called Kaserski's. Her father owned Rose Shop, which was a local department store. Natalie speaks about the Beth El synagogue, working in her father's store, and the Jewish community in Waterbury.

In addition to the oral history Natalie allowed the Mattatuck Museum to make digital copies of some of her family photographs which are also depicted here. There is a photograph of a Purim Play Beth El Synagogue depicting Belle Bram, William Kosersky, and Pearl Sachs. There is also a photograph of the interior of Morris Kazursky & Sons Real Estate. Morris on the far left was Natalie's grandfather.
