The reverse of this photograph states that this photograph is a YMCA gymnastics class of women. It's likely that this group is largely made up of Saint Margaret's students and their male teacher. Their athletic uniforms are loose and baggy middy shirts paired with loose bloomers. This outfit would have allowed for an increase in movement, while still remaining modest.
