This photograph depicts Saint Margaret's students in class. This photograph is interesting for its interior shot of the old Cooke and Grove school building. There are not many images of the interior of the first Saint Margaret's school building on Cooke and Grove Streets in downtown Waterbury, CT. In 1927 the school purchased land and built a new school on Chase Parkway. In this photograph the room seems large enough to hold several classes worth of students, and there is an organ and a lectern in the front of the room.
