Two-piece brass body. Upper piece horizontal and oval shape overall; text upper area "Selected As / Pioneer / Club Woman / by" and engraved text middle on banner "Waterbury Women's Club" and partial wreath lower area. Lower piece circular disk overall with raised relief standing child and woman wearing dress, broad brim had and carrying bag at left-center; raised text around upper area at edge "Honoring The Past For The Future's Enlightenment" and lower right-center "The / Pioneer / Woman", and engraved text upper right-center "Jessie A Fogg". Lower piece rear raised text around at edge "Golden Jubilee / General Federation of Women's Clubs"; vertical "1890" raised text left-center and "1940" raised text right-center; rear center geometric shield / square having three undecorated sections. Pieces linked together with tab and loop at overall center.
