Minotaure was a Surrealist magazine that was printed between 1933 and 1939. It was founded by Albert Skira. André Breton and Pierre Mabille served as editors. The goal was to produce a magazine on "The plastic arts - poetry - music - architecture - ethnography and mythology - theater - psychoanalytical studies and observations." Rubin, William S. Abrams, Inc., Publishers, New York. 525 pp. The magazine published high quality images of artwork, essays on the philosophy and artwork of the surrealist movement, and poetry.
