Ribbon medallion badge for the Connecticut Governor's Foot Guard. The rectangular pin bar, with a brooch pin fastening, has a decorative border and supports a red silk ribbon with stamped gold writing reading "Guest 1895." Dangling from the ribbon is a bronze medallion featuring the State Seal of Connecticut with the Latin Motto: "Qui Transtulit Sustinet", or "He who transplanted still sustains." Around the seal reads "Governor's Foot Guard Organized 1771." 
Condition: Fair, metal is tarnished and ribbon is starting to tear at pin bar.
