Metal pin with a brooch pin fastening on the back. On the front is a celluloid image of two crossed American flags. Written on either side of the flags is the manufacturer's mark: Pat. W & H. Co. / Newark, NJ. On the back of the pin is another manufacturer's mark: "The Whitehead & Hoag Co. / Oct. 18____ (comparing to other examples, this should say Oct.1892, but the "92" appears to have been soldered over). / Mar. 7 '93."
Condition: good, some tarnishing and pin is broken.
