Oral history interview with Eugene Kaplan

Eugene Kaplan sat for an interview for the Jewish Oral History Project on October, 13, 2000. A hard copy of the transcript is available from the museum upon request. Eugene's family immigrated from Lithuania in the 1910's. He discusses his childhood and the relationships between the Jews and other ethnic groups. He also mentions a dispute between the Jews and Catholics over some property. Other subjects of the interview include his service in the Navy, his graduation from law school, his marriage, and his involvement in politics.
