Morton Greenblatt sat for an interview for the Jewish Oral History Project on September 1, 2000. A hard copy of the transcript is available from the museum upon request. Morton's family immigrate to Waterbury from Lithuania. He talks about his childhood and the relationships between Jews and gentiles. He also mentions that Jew and gentiles never dated or intermarried. He discusses his religious education, his work in the Home Meat Market, his life through the Depression, his career as a lawyer, and his observance of holidays.
