Ledger, Used as Album of Clipped Newspaper Articles

Ledger sized album. Cover is brown cardboard with organic graphical design and a yellow label attached by MHS when first acquired (19??). Cover corners are worn and spine cover missing. Pages of an older account ledger were overlaid with clipped newspaper articles of the period, glued over the original writing, which dates to the 1860s. About half of the album has been so glued. A few article date up through 1935. A few small loose pages inserted. Included toward the back of the book is hand drawn "Genealogical Church History of Madison" copied by HB Wilcox from the original at the 1st Congregational Church.
