Britton Lane images from "A Generation Later: Revisiting the Historical and Architectural Survey of Madison, Connecticut" by James Sexton, Ph.D.

1 cased CD, labeled on case and on the CD, of alphabetically arranged color digital photos of historic properties from Bayview Place to Duck Hole Road in Madison, CT.  Pictures are indexed by street and number address.  This is an update to "The Madison Historical & Architectural Survey Committee completed the first Historic Resource Inventory of Madison, led by its director, Edward G.A. Kubler, ACC# 2021.018.007 and -.008.  There were three main reasons for revisiting the 1980 survey: to photographically update it, to continue work begun at that point, and to suggest buildings to add to the inventory.  This work is intended as a starting point; it is not an official updating of the state Historic Resources Inventory.  It does not utilize the state Historical Commission’s inventory forms, nor does it conform to their standards.  Instead, it provides suggestions, and it is hoped, a starting point for a more formal updating of the Historic Resource Inventory.
