35" W 43 3/4" L Measurement Notes: 35" x 43 3/4" (overall waist x overall length)
From worksheet in object file: Brown cotton machine-made fabric trousers lined with linen with a buttoned drop front flap. Raised waist with four buttons for attaching to a top (some type of shirt). Originally it was a two-piece suit or outfit . All hand-sewn. Lined with linen. Pant legs of medium length, no cuffs. All of the black buttons appear to be plastic, except one fastening the waist  - that button appears to be tin.Worn and probably made in Fairfield, belonged to an ancestor of the Sarah Wakeman Wood family.
