View of Main Street, now called Old Post Road, looking east. Trees line both sides of the road. Two structures are visible on the left side of the street. One of the buildings on the left is a Red Cross building. On the right side of the road, a partial view of a residence with a fence around it, probably, the Fowler House, is visible. Leafless trees and a partial view of a sidewalk are visible in the foreground. A lamppost is visible on the left side of the street. The Benson House is visible at the end of the road. Printed at the top right, "Main Street looking East,/ Fairfield Conn."
