White linen short-sleeved girl's dress. Attached handwritten label reads "White linen dress made by Eveline Hale for her daughter Margaret Hale passed on to Polly Hale Harts - then to Martha Harts Humphrey - beautiful work".
The dress features geometric crochet lace insertions throughout, at the sleeves, shoulders, neckline, chest and waist. The garment buttons down the back with three mother of pearl buttons and two hook and eyes at the waist, all of which are concealed. The dress has a pocket at the right hip.
In excellent condition with minor staining.
