Faded paper, one page, 10.5"x15.5", five vertical folds, 2 horizontal. Stained in several places. Address on outside section, one tear, presumably where seal held letter closed, on right hand side in the middle.
Discussion of travel, N.B. seeking health further south which was soon recovered. Stayed in said location for 10 days, fishing and sailing, discusses amount of fish caught (an impressive 700 fish total). Discussed hauling lobster pots and tanning. Upon returning home, N.B. had been "very still" in not visiting anyone, however discusses going to visit father. Also mentions a "Stephen" and inquires on his financials and debt. Discusses goings-on in the family, and the death of "Eunice".
