Coll. 004 Fold. 001 Doc. 008. Letter from Annie S.M. to Captain Charles L. Meech and Cousin Noyes.
One page, 13" x 15.5", 5 vertical folds, 2 horizontal. Address on an outside section, in addition to a red seal. Two relatively small water marks on upper portion of page (right and left sides).
Letter discusses many goings-on in Preston- Annie notes that "I have taken a big sheet [of paper] and now the thing is to fill it". Many families are discussed, births, deaths, marriages, anything that would happen in a small town such as Preston. Discussion moves towards the end of the letter to Cousin Noyes traveling to St. Louis, presumably to meet Charles.
