Coll. 004 Fold. 001 Doc. 010.  Letter to Charles L. Meech from Annie Meech by Care of Cousin Noyes.
One page, faded writing, 9.75" x 12.75", 5 vertical folds, 2 horizontal, with many smaller folds crisscrossing the rest.  Torn on the inner right-hand side.  Address on an outside section, in addition to the words "Single-Single!!  Care Cousin Noyes".

It is explained in this letter that, as formerly assumed, Cousin Noyes was going to travel to see Charles and an "Uncle Stephen" in St Louis, and taking letters from Ann (Annie), Cynthia, and other members of the family with him so they would not need to be sent by post.  There is also discussion in the letter of how "Pa" has become executor of Capt. Moses Hillard's will, and how the death has affected the family.  The letter ends with Annie saying she "might fill up the sheet with guessing what will be, but there hasn't been much since I came home".
