Various documents detailing history of Long Society contained within an envelope originally sent from The Southern New England Telephone Co. to J. H. Hall which once contained a telephone directory. Date envelope was sent is unknown. 3 cent stamp indicates prior to 1958. Includes M. Hall's research notes and original documents from 1817 as well as 1889 discourse on the history of the society (see Coll. 003 Fold. 068 Doc. 002). There is great variety in condition. Unsure of identity of J. H. Hall. Second initial certainly H, not K (as in J. Kellogg Hall, father of Sidney). Also includes discourse for the rededication of the meeting house in 1889.
