Women's Patched Chemise

Cotton
A white cotton chemise, worn through and patched heavily. The garment is cut economically with straight lines. The skirt is gored. The neck is shaped with a drawstring cord, tied at the center front. The rectangular sleeves are gathered very slightly to the shoulder, and have square gussets. 
Hand sewn. 
This garment has weathered much wear and laundering. The height of the repairs are around the sleeves and neck. Large patches have been applied. Thread is woven through the tears to re-integrate the fabric.

Condition: Fair. Torn and yellowed.
