A women's white bonnet with a short brim, rounded tabs at the end of the brim - from which ties extend - and a crown gathered to the brim and nape of the neck. Only one of the ties survive, which flares out at the bottom. It has thread-bound scallops and floral eyelet embroidery also seen on the brim edge. The cap hem is edges with bobbin lace. The crown/brim seam is piped. It is partially machine sewn.
