This small, off-white cap follows fashionable hat shapes of the 1850s, with a round flat crown at the back of the head, upwardly tilted short brim, and skirt. It is composed of a complexly knotted thread net. The brim, crown, and skirt - that runs the length of the brim and is pleated at the back - are differentiated by narrow, cream-colored satin ribbon woven into the net. Condition: Very good. OL of brim 17".
