Oval cabinet card wedding picture of Eliza Dowd Conklin and William Conklin, dated 1857 (which predates assumed photo type by several years, and pose & clothing style seem post-Civil War). Unmatted size 5 1/4" x 7 3/8". Mat opening 4 3/4" x 6 3/4". Under glass in gold leaf oval wood flame with floral fourishes top & bottom. 7 3/4" x 9 3/4".
