February 2018
A CD with a recording of a Lee Lecture on Grace Miner Lippincott (1879-1975), a local poet, and Dr. Mila Elisabeth Rindge (1915-2002), a physician from Madison who was an active member of the Madison HIstorical Society (MHS). Their respective presentors were members of the MHS: Doe Boyle, an author and editor, and Bob Gundersen, a photographer and the chair of collections. They provide biographies of their subjects and overviews of their professional careers.
The CD is annotated with permanent marker. These inscriptions accurately indicate the content is a Lee Lecture recorded in February 2018. They mistakenly indicate that the CD contains a lecture covering Madison's "first librarian and historian," Mary Scranton Evarts and Charlotte Evarts.
