A vial of Bicarbonate Soda. Produced by the Van Horn and Sawtell Company in New York City. The company was acquired by Johnson and Johnson in 1917. Part of a traveling doctors medical kit owned by Dr. Jerome S. Chaffee. founder of the Sharon Hospital.
