Video "The Neck" part of 'Madison (1980's) Now and Then'

Beginning at the Old School House Deli on the corner of Neck Road and the Boston Post Road, we travel "down the Neck" noting the change from the agricultural and fishing days to the present residential uses of the land. Early families are recalled as are early industries. Especial attention is given to Buffalo Bay as a unique segment of Madison. Our journey ends at Circle Beach. As we go we visit an oyster man at work, a blacksmith shop, the only remaining shop once used for the construction of boats, and the remains of the "Annie Bassett".
