Hand wrought. Base is attached to stem with sqaure nut. Slot in side of candlestick has small tab protruding which was used to raise candle up and down. Snuffer has a small handle with which it is hung on the tab. Snuffer is 3.25" long and 1.5" in diameter. Dates: 1797 Condition/Alterations: Fair (bent and mold)
