Purple silk ribbon, 56" long. Ends cut at an angle. Wrinkled and pierced near the middle of the length. Accompanied by 3 metal clips (2005.10.22-24) suggesting that it was clipped onto something, probably the Civil War uniform of the original owner.
History: Belonged to Barbara Bartram's great uncle, George Moulton, and was donated along with many Civil War commemorative ribbons and buttons.
