Measurement Notes: nearly 2 acres
Alling Carrington donated this land in 1793 to establish the Carrington Cemtery. It was also known as the "North Cemetery" and was the second burial ground in town. The graveyard was originally much smaller, but it was expanded twice. First, the Carrington descendants created 20 new family plots on the west sides in 1860s. Second, the town purchased an "L" shaped 1.3 acres on the south and west sides in 1941, more than tripling the size. The Carrington Cemetery Association managed it between 1943-1957, and then the property was returned to the town.

Today there are over 500 graves spread across nearly two acres, making it the largest of the six graveyards in Bethany for both population and area. It is also the only cemetery in town currently selling plots.
