Anvil

An anvil is a metalworking tool consisting of a large block of metal with a flattened top surface.  They are used by blacksmiths to work hot metal into implements.  They are usually located near a forge to prevent heat loss in the the piece that is being worked on.

There are many types of anvils, tailored to a specific purpose or needs of the smith.  This anvil was for a Blacksmith.
