Brass plated over copper

E-flat Alto horn (without mouthpiece). Made by Gautrot Brevetc a Paris. Made from mid to late 19th century. Bell of horn has deteriorated because "solder joints" have deteriorated. Consists of 1865 Indian Head Penny. Appears to be made of brass or brass plated over copper, un-laquered. Designed to be played upright or over-the-shoudler. Appears to be missing an elbow-shaped lead pipe that mouthpiece would fit into. No serial number found.

2: valve piston and spring present, move freely, no cap on stem
