Bound volume of six handwritten sermons by Rev. David S. Rowland, pastor at First Church in Windsor 1776-1794. The
sermons were preached in Windsor between 1769 and 1801. Each sermon is about sixteen pages and has the scriptural verse at the heading and the places/dates preached at the top of the first page. A "Covenant" is pasted on the inside front cover and additional inscriptions on the inside back cover.
Dark brown leather binding 6.5" x 8.25" x .75", handsewn quires.
Card in the back of the volume of sermons reads "Property of Mrs. C.H. Willcox." She was owner of the Chaffee House in the early 20th century.
