Hat, Bonnet

Straw bonnet, probably leghorn, or at least a straw that is woven across so that it is almost seamless. (The straw for the crown of the hat was woven specificially for this purpose).

Has some original gauze type lining

Outer edge of brim finished off with a border of crepe material (1/2 inch wide).

Bonnet is trimmed with a 3 1.8" inch wide plaid ribbon (ribbon is green, brown, copper, orange and gold) A bow is located at the back and one at the top center, wher the brim ends. The ribbons tie under the chin. The left side is of the ribbon is approximately 14 1/2 inches, the right side approximately 17 inches.
