Small, clear glass jar. Rounded lip; slight widening at base. Mold lines visible on two sides; cross-shaped mold mark on bottom. Glass is mottled/dimpled.
Note with jar says " very old glass - poss. from and apothecary (Chaffee?) -- Abbott Cummings 6/21/90."
Part of a collection of artifacts dug from rear of Chaffee House. Donor found them while digging a garden when she resided there as a faculty member of the Loomis Chaffee School.
