Jerijah Barber, His Book of Account, Windsor, 1761

An account book kept by Jerijah Barber (Sr) with entries from 1761 to 1771. - Not completely chronological - some entries carried from another book. Jerijah Sr. (1738-1792) founded a tannery at Mill Brook, near his home (on Poquononk Ave.) where he was in business for many years. His son, Jerijah Jr. (1766-1820) continued on in his father's business and was the last in the family to do so. The majority of the notations are for (leather) shoes.
