Albumen print 5.5" x 7.25" mounted on gray board shows four women sorting and sewing tobacco leaves at a long trestle table at left, another woman in center is holding a lath of tobacco leaves, and two men in suits at right. All are working inside a tobacco shed with wicker baskets of tobacco leaves on the ground and laths of leaves suspended from beams at the right.
