Can label from the Miner, Read and Garrette Wholesale Grocers of New Haven, CT, an umbrella company for the Windsor Cannery. The label has a light robin's-egg blue background and gold lettering and borders. On the left side a pumpkin image sits between the word "Nutmeg Brand" and "Pumpkin", in the center there is a cartouche with a quality assurance statement and an image of the Miner, Read and Garrette store, and at the right is a gold medallion with the recipe "To Make good Pies".
