Survey Phelps Lands in Rainbow

Survey on laid paper showing the Phelps and Case lands in Rainbow in the late 18th century. Survey involves property owned by Isaac Phelps, Job Phelps, Mr Case. Modern property is near Rainbow Road and Hamilton Standard.

Notation at bottom begins: "From corner of Clark's Land at A to the corner of Phelps land B as the Road is now trod is three quarters of a mile but from A to B viz from Clark's said corner to Phelps' said corner is one mile and half sixteen rods (unintelligible) and 6 links half is three quarters of a mile..."

Exhibited in 1992 Joab Griswold exhibition at the Connecticut Historical Society.
