Oral history interview of Florence Loomis Ellsworth (Mrs. Philip E. Ellsworth, Jr.) recorded on Mar. 15, 1988 by Carol Ann Stephenson. Mrs. Ellsworth was the last surviving charter member of the Windsor Historical Society. The conversation covered a wide range of topics, including her childhood and early schooling in Westfield, Mass., her father's lumber business, trolley cars and early automobiles, the operation of the Windsor Cannery, and her involvement with the Windsor Historical Society and its Walter Fyler House. The cassette tape was reformatted to .wav digital file in August 2007 by John Berky. The interview was transcribed by Connie Thomas in September 2007. Florence Loomis Ellsworth died Dec. 17, 1996
