Account book of Levi Griswold (probably of Poquonock) with entries between 1812 and 1827 for wide variety of activities including day labor, carting, cobblering, furnishing fabrics and textiles, butchering, impounding cattle, sledding wood, produce and grain. Accounts include carting cotton for Poquonock paper mill owners Samuel Hollister and William Soper. Index to names at front of volume. Pale blue paper-coverd boards, leather spine binding. A few loose papers tucked inside volume.
