Treasurer's book for the Second [Ecclesiastical] Society of Windsor, Connecticut with records from June 1, 1774 thru at least Oct. 29, 1876. Financial accounts and notes for support of the meetinghouse and pastor of the Second Society of Windsor and for the support and use of the school house maintained by the Second School Society in the Poquonock section of Windsor. Second School Society was also responsible for the operation of Elm Grove Cemetery.
Various treasurers kept the accounts including Joab Griswold, George Griswold, Jr., Cyrus Phelps, Phineas Griswold, Origen Griswold, William Alford, Eli Phelps, and Elihu Marshall which were also reviewed by a Society Committee.
Brown leather bound volume 20.5 x 31.5 x 3.5 cm. with black decorative tooled design on covers.
